Cabin Directions
Coming from Georgia Highway 400 North from I-285:
Take Ga. Hwy 400 North until it ends just south of Dahlonega. Continue on U.S. Route 19 North for about 3 more miles. At the intersection with Ga. Hwy 115, continue onto Hwy. 115 (more or less straight, U.S. 19 turns left). Follow Ga. Hwy 115 to Cleveland. Turn left onto U.S. Route 129. Follow this through Cleveland and turn right at Ma Gooch's restaurant on Ga. Hwy 75. Go 2.3 miles then turn Left on Asbestos road (first left after The Yonah Burger). Follow 1.2 miles then turn Right on Joe Black road. Follow 1.3 miles then turn left on to Whippoorwill (just before big curve in the road). Go .5 miles to 544 Whippoorwill Lane (cabin will be on right after pond).
Coming from I-85 North from I-285:
Easy Directions: Take I-985 North to Ga. Hwy 384. Turn left at traffic light onto Hwy 384 which is Duncan Bridge Rd. (you will see signs for Cleveland and Unicoi State Park as you approach that intersection). Travel 15.5 miles to end of road. Turn left onto Ga. Hwy 75 and drive 9/10 of mile, then turn right onto Joe Black. Another 8/10 mile then turn right onto Whippoorwill. Go .5 miles to 544 Whippoorwill Lane (cabin will be on right after pond).
Other Directions: Take I-985N to exit 24 in Gainesville (U.S. Route 129 going to Cleveland). Turn Left off exit (Ga. Hwy. 369 West). Go 3 traffic lights (.7 miles) to Limestone Rd./Pkwy, Turn right. Follow to dead-end (2 miles) turn Right at stop sign on to U.S. Route 129. Follow all the way to Cleveland (20.4 miles - you will go around the court house in the middle of town). In Cleveland turn right at Ma Gooch's restaurant on Ga. Hwy 75. Go 2.3 miles then turn Left on Asbestos road (first left after The Yonah Burger). Follow 1.2 miles then turn Right on Joe Black road. Coming from I-85 South from South Carolina:
Take 85S to the Lavonia exit, Ga. Hwy. 17 West. Follow this highway around the south side of Toccoa (avoid alternate Hwy. 17). Continue on Ga. Hwy. 17 through Clarkesville, past Sautee, until it deadends into Ga. Hwy. 75. Turn left onto Hwy. 75. Follow Hwy. 75 past the intersection with Ga. Hwy. 384, continue another 9/10 of mile, then turn right onto Joe Black. Another 8/10 mile then turn right onto Whippoorwill. Go .5 miles to 544 Whippoorwill Lane (cabin will be on right after pond).
